Scope
This Privacy Notice applies to the SnapTour public landing page, waitlist, development preview, and core property-tour generation workflow. The core preview is being developed for controlled use in the United States. It does not yet require customer accounts, payments, or email notifications.
Some practices differ by surface. In particular, waitlist advertising measurement is separate from the core product workflow and does not receive property media, prompts, room maps, generated clips, or QA evidence.
Data we handle
Depending on how you use the preview, SnapTour may handle:
- Landing page and waitlist data: email address, pricing-research answers, lead identifier, signup time, referring page, IP address, browser user agent, and advertising-measurement identifiers when configured.
- Property and project inputs: photographs, a floor plan, optional property details or address, room labels, image order, route choices, instructions, prompts, and manual corrections.
- Generated and review material: candidate clips, selected shots, final exports, QA frames, motion metrics, defect notes, comparison evidence, and project status.
- Technical and access data: project identifiers, deletion or recovery credentials, signed-link metadata, IP address, browser and device details, request times, and security logs.
- Operational data: provider request identifiers, model and generation settings, processing status, error details, usage and provider cost records, consent records, and support communications.
Property media can reveal an address, layout, possessions, occupancy clues, people, documents, or security details. Submit only what is necessary and remove sensitive details before upload when possible.
Why we use data
SnapTour uses this information to:
- receive, validate, organize, analyze, and generate the requested property tour;
- show project progress, selected evidence, review findings, and final output;
- detect technical failures, investigate errors, and improve the requested project workflow;
- protect access, prevent misuse, enforce limits, and maintain service security; and
- comply with legal obligations and respond to privacy, safety, or support requests.
The core preview does not use product analytics or session replay. It also does not use project media for cross-context behavioral advertising. The public waitlist may use the limited advertising measurement described below.
Service providers and AI processing
SnapTour uses service providers to operate the preview. They receive information only for the functions they perform. Current providers and categories include:
- Vercel for the Next.js web surface and existing waitlist infrastructure.
- Railway for the API, media workers, queue infrastructure, and private object storage.
- Neon for the project database.
- A backup provider for encrypted recovery copies where configured.
- OpenRouter and OpenAI for property and floor-plan analysis.
- fal.ai and the Seedance 2.0 model provider for video generation.
- X for landing-page advertising measurement when the X pixel and conversion integration are configured.
SnapTour configures available privacy and retention controls, but does not promise zero data retention. OpenAI may retain request data for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days, subject to the provider terms and controls that apply to the selected route.
For video generation, SnapTour uses fal.ai lifecycle controls intended to keep provider-hosted input and output media temporary where supported. Generated output is copied promptly into SnapTour-controlled private storage. Provider handling and deletion timing remain subject to provider capabilities and terms.
Landing page and waitlist measurement
When the optional X advertising integration is configured, the public landing page loads an X pixel. When someone joins the waitlist, SnapTour may send X a conversion event containing a one-way hash of the submitted email address, IP address, browser user agent, referring page, event time, and an opaque lead identifier. X may use cookies or similar technologies and handles the event under its own terms.
This measurement is limited to the public landing page and waitlist. The pixel is not loaded on the core preview, Terms, or Privacy pages, and no property media or project workflow data is sent to X. Some privacy laws may call this disclosure targeted advertising or sharing. You may use browser privacy controls and may contact SnapTour to exercise an applicable opt-out right.
Privacy and security controls
Project media is private by default. SnapTour uses time-limited signed URLs for media access, restricts service credentials, and uses transport encryption and provider access controls. Anyone who receives an active signed URL may be able to access the linked file, so do not forward those links.
No system can guarantee absolute security. If you believe project data or an access link has been exposed, contact SnapTour promptly so access can be revoked and the issue investigated.
Processing location
SnapTour intends to keep the production resources it directly controls in the United States. Third-party providers and their subprocessors may process or support data from other locations. SnapTour therefore does not promise that every processing step or provider system remains exclusively within the United States.
Retention and deletion
The preview uses the following default schedule unless a shorter period is required by law, a project agreement, or a deletion request:
- Temporary upload staging copies are deleted immediately after a successful transfer into durable private storage and validation.
- Failed, incomplete, or rejected upload staging files are deleted within 24 hours.
- Failed or unselected generations and detailed QA evidence are deleted 14 days after the related generation job completes.
- Source media, selected shots, project instructions, and project state are deleted 180 days after the project's last meaningful activity.
- Final exports are deleted 365 days after creation.
- Waitlist emails and pricing-research responses are deleted within 24 months after the last waitlist interaction unless you ask for earlier deletion or a legal need requires longer retention.
When a valid project deletion is requested, SnapTour revokes normal access immediately and keeps a seven-day recovery window. Primary copies are purged within 24 hours after that recovery window ends. Residual processor or encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 30 additional days before aging out.
Minimal legal, consent, privacy-request, fraud-prevention, and security records may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to meet the applicable obligation, resolve a dispute, or protect the service. A required legal or security hold can pause deletion for the affected information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information, and to limit or object to certain processing. SnapTour does not sell personal information. It does not use core preview or project data for targeted advertising. The optional public waitlist measurement described above may be subject to an applicable opt-out right.
Send a request to privacy@snaptour.app. Describe the project and the right you want to exercise without emailing property media. SnapTour may ask for information needed to verify your relationship to the project. An authorized agent may make a request where permitted by law. If an appeal right applies, you may appeal a decision by replying to the response. SnapTour will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Age limit
The preview is for people age 18 or older and is not directed to children. Do not submit photographs or other media focused on a child unless you have authority, the inclusion is necessary for the authorized project, and applicable law permits the processing. Contact SnapTour if you believe a child's information was submitted without proper authorization.
Updates and contact
This notice may change as the product, providers, and legal requirements develop. The effective date will be updated when changes are posted. Material changes will be communicated where practical.
Privacy questions, deletion requests, and security concerns can be sent to privacy@snaptour.app.
